OCT biometric module for monitoring myopia progression
Another of the many possibilities of our OCT device is the control of the progression of myopia, which makes it easier for us:
• early detection of axial elongation,
• insight into the structural changes of the retina and choroid,
• monitoring the effectiveness of treatment in real time from childhood to the period of adolescence.
Detection of changes in the posterior segment of the eye (posterior staphyloma and choroid condition) is crucial for us in the treatment of high myopia and the assessment of structural changes that occur in the eye over time, with the progression of myopia.
