The most modern laser
Ergonomic and easy to use, the VITRA 2® laser offers a wide range of parameters adapted to the treatment of retinal pathologies.
Adaptable to Haag Streit or Zeiss split lamps, it features a unique clinically oriented user interface and software-guided treatment, improving corneal treatments.
The main features are:
- Traditional green wavelength of 532 nm
- Singlespot mode
- Multispot working pattern
"Multispot" working pattern. The "SingleSpot" mode is for conventional thermal treatments such as the closure of leaking blood vessels and the treatment of retinal tears (focal laser photocoagulation), while the "multisport" mode is used more often for treatments on the periphery of the retina in order to shorten the duration of the treatment and provide greater patient comfort.
Traditional single-spot laser photocoagulation is performed using single spots with long pulse durations (100 to 200 ms).
When many laser points need to be delivered, laser sessions can be long and tiring. The multi-point scan treatment mode circumvents these limitations.
Using shorter duration (10 to 20 ms) and pattern scanning technology, multiple laser spots are delivered extremely quickly in different patterns, shortening the duration of laser sessions and making laser treatment more comfortable for both patient and surgeon.
